I Put A Spell On You

I know Halloween is over, but one of my all-time favorite spooky songs is Screamin' Jay Hawkins' "I Put a Spell On You." It's a little bit creepy and sounds a little bit voodoo-esque. I thought of this song while checking out these heeled booties called Voodoo Baby by Vogue Footwear. I was immediately drawn to them because they're not like anything I have in my closet. I can be silly sometimes and buy sort-of "dupes" for other items I already own... But if you recognize the name Vogue Footwear it's because Vogue Footwear has been at some of my favorite blogger events, especially the VIP Blogger Lounge! They not only offer women's shoes, but men's as well now, in their brother company, Crevo Footwear

I knew the perfect place to take close-ups of these gorgeous faux-leather booties was the Moonrise Hotel's rainbow staircase. It just so happened I was wearing my space-babe skirt from Avalon Exchange to tie into the interstellar aspect of the Moonrise! For me, "comfy casual" usually means jeans, so I'm trying to take it up a notch. This cozy tee from Target's crazy sale section over the summer was just the right pick. And you're probably thinking, heeled booties for a comfy outfit? YES. They are that comfortable! I walked around in them all day on Saturday - even for a few hours at the mall. And yes, this is what my hair looked like before it turned blue. The bob is very flattering on me, I think! If you're looking for a new cut, definitely hit up Stephanie at Nova Salon.
