Jamberry is Jammin' at Leopard Boutique

Well, y'all, it appears I'm addicted to blogging.

This post, however, is about an event I'll be attending on Sunday, March 9th. It's being hosted by Angie Curtis, and it is being held at a location that is near and dear to my heart. Leopard Boutique is a wonderful, stylish little boutique in the heart of Webster Groves, MO. Owned by Rachel and John Sauter, it has been open since October of 2012 (it actually opened the day I met my boyfriend, how about that!). Rachel and John are two of the sweetest people you'll ever meet, and their hearts are really invested in the shop. I frequented Leopard a lot while I worked in Webster Groves from 2012-2013, and I even helped out with a bit of Facebook and Twitter media for them for a few months. You can find a few of my blog posts for them here: http://leopardboutique.com/blog/

I've definitely heard of Jamberry Nails before, but I've never had the chance to try them! I'm very excited about giving them a shot. The photo below is from one of the few adhesive nail wraps I've tried at home. I love anything leopard, and having it on my fingertips was so cool!

More about the event, from the Facebook event page:
Join us for some fashion, food, drinks & a Jammin' With Angie manicure at Leopard Boutique!! With Spring just around the corner you want your nails (and toes) to look fabulous!! Stop by Leopard and shop for a new spring wardrobe AND get a quick mani while sipping a drink! Jamberry nails are a non-toxic nail wrap that can last up to 2 weeks on your nails and 6 weeks on your toes! There are over 300 designs & NO dry time (unless you want lacquer)... Would love to see you there!!

I don't shop at Leopard as much now that I don't work nearby, but I have had some items I've really loved of theirs! The first photo below was taken in July of 2013 during my family's trip to New York City. My first time as a young adult in Central Park! The tunic top, sunglasses, handbag, and sandals are all from Leopard. The necklace I'm wearing is from local handmade artist, Fable & Lore. I have never met Fable & Lore's owner, Chelsie, but I adore her work and her gorgeous red hair, complete with beautiful bangs. Fringe sisters for life!

The earrings in the below photo are from Leopard as well. They're a super lightweight, funky plastic in a tortoiseshell pattern. Sometimes, aside from my love affair with black and white outfits, I think there's almost nothing more chic than tortoiseshell. Both the above and below photos are from my personal Instagram, if you feel like following me!

Well, I'm off to bed!

I can't wait until next weekend for the event!
